Safety and Satisfaction.

In 2005 a land mark study was published showing that births attended out of the hospital by Certified Professional Midwives was associated with lower rates of medical intervention but similar outcomes compared to low risk hospital births in the United States.
As a licensed Birth Center and as licensed Midwives in Oregon we are able to accept most insurances including Oregon Health Plan (must be open card, we can help you obtain one). We also give sizable discounts to families with out health insurance and can make flexible payment plans to allow every family the opportunity to birth at Motherwise.
